Watercolor, Colored Pencils and Acrylic on Paper
When I was growing up in Southern California, my elementary school was on a hill overlooking the Pacific ocean. We had a great view of the migration of the Grey Whales, on their way to Mexico. Our teachers encouraged us to draw, paint or write about what we experienced, as we sat on benches lining the perimeter of the school yard, watching the whales make their passage. These are precious memories for me, and now, cause me sorrow, as well as joy, because the whales are suffering from the Naval using sonic weapons. I ask everyone who feels a kindred spirit with the whales, however they speak to your heart, to send them support. Join me in taking a moment to meditate, pray or simply ask for the well-being of whales. Bless the whales and ALL/OUR RELATIONS.
